COMMITEE CHAIRMEN

We still need volunteers for commitee chairs as you can see below!

Please step up and help out!!

• Monitors Park equipment for repair & maintenance needs
• Researches vendors of needed equipment or materials
• Periodically checks park for litter or any other problems

• Maintains beach & pier area (see "Beach & Pier" link) by arranging annual work parties to perform needed repairs & improvements
• Manages boat slips, collects slip & launch ramp key fees
• Enforces Beach & Pier Rules, which are reviewed and approved annually by the general membership
• (Of late, gathers information on the possibility, permitting process and costs of an expansion to our pier system)

• Produces community newsletter for distribution before each general meeting & occasional special editions
• Delivers newsletters to volunteer distributors (see "Newsletter Distributors" link), who take them to every address in Sunset Beach

• Serves as contact for several County departments
• Contacts appropriate County officials re: various issues that arise
• Attends meetings of Greater Pasadena Council as SBIA representative

• Plans & organizes food and beverages for our annual Spring Flings, Summer Parties, and Night before Halloween get-togethers
• Occasionally plans & organizes extra events
• Publicizes these events with posters around the community

• Plans & organizes various fund-raising events
• Publicizes events

• Collects & records membership dues & donations
• Organizes efforts to improve membership numbers

• Coordinates Neighborhood Watch
• Meets with Block Captains to share information about undesirable activity in the community THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS.

• Calls meetings of those interested in By-Law updates or changes
• Presents amendment proposals as suggested by the committee
